Yuzulemon

Yuzulemon is a contemporary artist exploring the intersection of society and art. Utilizing traditional Japanese materials and techniques, her work visually examines abstract concepts such as value, capital, and belief in the context of today’s world. Through installations and sculptural pieces that change in color and expression depending on the viewer’s angle, she metaphorically addresses social issues, encouraging people to perceive the world from multiple perspectives rather than just the front-facing view. Her approach reflects the idea that deeper understanding emerges when we shift our standpoint—both literally and figuratively.

In 2024, she was awarded the Performance Prize at the “Kankakute” exhibition held at the Fukuoka Art Museum. Yuzulemon’s multilayered, thought-provoking creations offer viewers a chance to engage with contemporary society in a reflective and personal way.

2024年、福岡美術館で開催された「カンカクテ展」にてパフォーマンス賞を受賞。表層にとどまらず、多層的な視点で世界を見つめるアートは、観る者に新たな気づきをもたらしている。
