Why does Shiori Tanikuchi create glass art?
Because no matter where you live or what language you speak, there is something that resonates in everyone’s heart.
She wants to create that.
She wants to deliver smiles and blessings to people around the world.

With each piece, she sends a message:
"I see you. You’re going to be okay. I love you."

Through glass art, she shares this love with the world.

tanikuchishioriは、たくさんの人を笑顔にするため、ガラスを溶かす。

25年前、ガラスの持つ透明感と、冷ややかで、しばらくしたら、その人の体温に同化する、素材感に惹かれ、ガラス作家になる。

彼女には、ガラス作家ともう一つの顔がある。
カバラ数秘術のカウンセラーである。
人生をよりよく、笑顔がたくさんの日々になれるよう、ガラス作品と一緒に導き、寄り添っていきたい…その想いで、制作している。

JCATに入るきっかけは、彼女が半世紀を迎えて思ったこと、ジュエリーを中心に制作してきたが、アートと言われる、今までにない作品を作ってみたい、そして、世界を温かいエネルギーで繋げていきたいと、大きな願望からだ。

いつも見てるよ…取りこぼさないよ…と言う意味で、2025年夏NY展より、Fraction eye シリーズの制作を始める。
