KURENIGHT

Painter

KURENIGHT spent his childhood surrounded by the quiet richness of nature, nurturing his sensitivity while feeling a deep closeness to insects, birds, and animals. For this gentle and reserved boy, the natural world served as his first companion and the earliest source of his expanding creativity.

Later, he lived in New York for five years due to his father’s job transfer. There, direct encounters with diverse cultures, languages, and people from around the world became a major turning point, introducing a sense of freedom, humor, and openness into his artistic expression.

After experiencing significant health challenges in his youth, he devoted time to deep self-reflection, a process that naturally led painting to become the center of his life.

Since then, he has been selected six times for the Chiba Prefectural Exhibition and has exhibited in the New York Chelsea shows “LOVE” and “NATURE.”

Blending a profound appreciation for nature with a rich and playful creative sensibility, his works gently illuminate the small, whimsical moments hidden within everyday life.
