Ryo.S is an artist born with cerebral palsy. He creates monochromatic pencil drawings by holding a pencil in his mouth and completes every step of the process by himself. Through an intense dialogue with his own body, he explores the subtle colors hidden within black and white. Following last year’s performance, he will also present a live drawing performance this year. With a philosophy that refuses to turn disability into a weapon, he continues to create art that challenges all excuses.

MIHO is a self-taught female artist who paints the invisible world in abstract expressions. With gratitude to the gods, she expresses the energy of the Seven Lucky Gods of Japan through her filter on canvas with acrylic. MIHO wishes to deliver the energy art of the Seven Lucky Gods, who are always watching over us, along with the spirituality of Japan, to the world. Like the amulets found in Japanese shrines. Born in Tokyo in 1971

Tomoko Hiroguchi
Mixed Media Artist

Anela Meli is a mixed-media artist who conveys symbolic HOPE through warmth and layered storytelling. Her motif, Elfy—a honeybee with angel wings—embodies compassion and resilience. Amid a harsh world, she believes deeply in the goodness within humanity. Her concept, ‘One Drop of HOPE’, suggests how even a small act of kindness can ripple outward to inspire change. Through delicate stitches and gentle forms, she envisions a world where people live freely and kindly, guided by love and light—each artwork a step toward that quietly radiant future.

These works explore movement and emotion born within physical limitation.
Rendered solely in pencil, the monochrome world may appear silent, yet carries inner speed and temperature.
Acts such as flying, swimming, and resisting recur—symbols of unheard voices and unspoken wishes.
Because the body cannot move freely, the will to advance is poured onto paper.
Drawing is not merely a technique, but a way to carve the contours of existence.
Centered around the hanging scroll piece Life to Dream, the series unfolds a quiet yet persistent will.

Reframing Tradition: A Contemporary Japanism
For this exhibition, Meli presents two interconnected series that reinterpret classical Japanese motifs—Hanafuda playing cards and Kamon family crests—through a contemporary, deeply personal lens.
“The Five Majesties” revives the five most revered Hanafuda cards to express timeless values like gratitude and resilience.
“Meli-MON” deconstructs Kamon into playful, organic forms—featuring motifs like mirrored horses and auspicious cranes—inviting joy and reflection.
One interactive piece even invites audiences to co-create.
Blending embroidery and paint, Meli breathes new life into tradition, transforming heritage into a shared source of beauty, meaning, and HOPE.
