MIHO

Mixed Media Artist

MIHO is an artist aspiring to bring comfort, dreams, and happiness to the world through her art.
She views everything we see and experience in this world as a reflection of what resides within ourselves. She particularly feels that emotional bodies have a significant impact on our experience in the world. Created with the belief that once we become a high-frequency presence with our emotions integrated, we will do good for the Earth and thus make the peaceful, contended world, MIHO’s works bring us contentment and comfort.
Using animals and plants as motifs, she creates pieces of mixed media art using acrylics, oil, and natural stones on canvas. She expanded the range of her creation to digital art and NFT in 2022, consciously trying to move with the times.

In 2022, she actively participated in exhibitions not only in Japan but also in New York, Paris, Milan, and Barcelona. She has also been trying out abstract paintings, wanting to express what springs from her interior.

Her works make those who see them happy as an artist herself enjoys the creation process, moving her hand freely, feeling each moment, and making the world she sees into art.

Before Disneyland existed in Japan, I went to it for the first time and thought, “what is all of this!” Like in those shoujo mangas, stars were sparkling from my eyes! The first Star Wars movie I saw in Hollywood shook me to the core and left me speechless! Since then, I have been looking up at the sky and wondering, “are there any spaceships flying around?”

One day, while I was on the car ride to Las Vegas and…..Read More
