Hiroka is a Japanese Sumi ink artist and calligrapher who creates expressive works by fusing traditional ink painting with powerful, dynamic calligraphy.

Guided by the theme “Creating world peace through Japanese Sumi art,” he actively shares the spirit and beauty of Japanese ink culture both in Japan and internationally.

His works are characterized by bold brushstrokes, rich gradations of ink, and the harmonious balance between imagery and written characters. Each piece reflects the Japanese sense of nature, spirituality, and inner balance, conveying deep emotion through the simplicity of black ink.

In addition to creating finished artworks, Hiroka is known for his live art performances, where the process of creation itself becomes a form of expression. These performances captivate audiences by transforming the moment of brush and ink into a powerful, immersive experience.

Committed to preserving Japan’s traditional ink culture for future generations, he also conducts Sumi art workshops for children, as well as hands-on Sumi experiences for international visitors to Japan, fostering cultural exchange beyond language and borders.

Hiroka’s activities continue to expand globally, with live performances and exhibitions held in Tokyo, Oita, Nagasaki, and New York’s Chelsea district.

裕香（ひろか）は、日本の伝統文化である墨を用い、絵と書を融合させた表現を行う墨絵師・書道家である。

墨の濃淡が生み出す余白の美と、力強くダイナミックな文字表現を特徴とし、「日本の墨アートで世界を平和にする」を活動テーマに掲げ、国内外で精力的に創作・発表を続けている。

作品には、日本文化が持つ精神性や自然観、調和の思想が込められており、一筆一筆に想いを宿す表現は、多くの人々の心に静かな感動を与えている。

ライブアートパフォーマンスでは、完成形だけでなく、描かれていく "瞬間”そのものを作品として提示し、観る者を墨の世界へと引き込む。

また、伝統ある日本の墨文化を未来へ継承するため、子供たちを対象とした墨絵ワークショップを継続的に開催。

さらに、海外から日本を訪れる旅行者向けの墨絵体験ワークショップも行い、国境や言葉を越えた文化交流にも力を注いでいる。

東京・大分・長崎をはじめ、ニューヨーク・チェルシー地区でもライブパフォーマンスを実施するなど、活動の場は世界へと広がり続けている。
