Hatamiru Sofue

Hatamiru Sofue was born in a country town in Tokyo.Since she was little,she learned the piano,and was exposed to various music.She played among nature and her imagination.She eventually began to use it as one of her communication tools,and “artistic expressions=herself.” She entered vocational school and came in contact with various artistic knowledge,where she realized that there was a deep connection between sound and color,and creating things is the foundation of people’s lives.She established herself by asking “What is normal?”,“What is life?”,“What is human?”,and “Who is she?” The unique world she creates is described by people as “Sofue World.” In addition to this,she is also learning belly dancing and traditional Japanese dance,which helps her widen and deepen her world of expression,and encouraging her to try different genres and methods of expression.She is an artist who continues to search for her potential.

東京の田舎町で祖父江美保は生まれた。彼女は、幼い頃から、ピアノを習い、様々な音楽に触れ、自然と戯れ、空想で遊ぶ少女だった。いつしかそれを、コミュニケーションツールの一つとして使うようになり、アート表現＝彼女自身となっていった。専門学校に進み、多くの芸術の知識を知るにつれ、音階と色彩に深い共通性がある事や、ものづくりが人々の生活の上で、根幹になっている事に気付く。そして、普通とは、生きるとは、人間とは、自分とはと、自分を確立する大きな柱となる。彼女が作る独特な世界を、人々は『ソフエワールド』と表現する。その他、ベリーダンスや、日本古来の巫女舞を習う事で、自分を表現する世界、制作していく幅を深く、広くし、ジャンル、表現を飛び越え、表現し続けている。自らの可能性を探し続けるアーティストである。
