ABOUT THIS ARTWORK
This shows my image of Japan.
It is said that millions of deities bring blessings to the people in Japan.
So we have many shrines all over the country.
I chose “ Fushimi Inari Taisha “ this time.
I draw the foxes, messengers of Shinto god of Inari, with an ear of rice, hoju ( sacred ball-shape gem) and key, the Inari mountains and the two red pillars imaged Torii.
In this Torii, I set the Inari Norito (Shinto prayer of Inari).
It is said that things putting in their mouths have precious meanings.
Ear of rice means huge harvest of 5grains.
Hoju means miraculous virtue of Inari.
Key means wish that always be together sometime Holy Spirit.
Especially, Hoju and Key are very important.
It is said that they represent the order of things.
