Momoka Kawano (Painter)
Momoka Kawano was born in Tochigi, Japan during the summer months of 1993. She spent her childhood hunting bugs, interacting with animals, and doing physical activities. She was uneasy at school when she reached puberty. She avoided making relationships with others, and felt lonely in her schooldays. When she was 15 years old, she became interested in art because of her art teacher. She also listened to many kinds of music in her free time. These experiences made her know about people expressing their values, emotions, and how to express them by art. She started doing oil painting, and acrylic her own way since then. She does this by selecting color with her emotion. She works at an art class for kids as a part time job now, and teaches them how fun painting and expressing themselves at will can be.
She mainly paints animals because she feels a glow of life from the animal’s eyes that is honest and pure.. She expresses her art with color she feels in her mind, not by actually looking at it. She said “ I want to give happiness to as many people as possible, because we experience so many sorrow in our lives, also in the world. ” She has a dream that she paints the love all lives have, and performs them all over the world.
